Welcome to 250YearCalendar.com - A Web page hosted by CMMEI.COM.
This page will link you to 14 calendars in your search for a specific year, from 1800-2050AD.
All you have to do is look up the year listed below and select the appropriate calendar number.
You can print out the entire calendar, or just view it to see special dates for birthdays, anniversaries, future dates, etc.
The calendar used throughout the world today is the Gregorian calendar which replaced the Julian calendar. In this calendar, the tropical year is approximated as 365 and 97/400 days = 365.2425 days.
It takes approximately 3300 years for the tropical year to shift one day with respect to the Gregorian calendar. The approximation 365 and 97/400 is achieved by having 97 leap years every 400 years. 97 divided by 400 = .2425 or 1/4 day. This gives an error of 1 day in approximately 128 years. The approximation 365 and 1/4 is achieved by having 1 leap year every 4 years.
The Gregorian calendar was proposed by Aloysius Lilius, a physician from Naples, Italy, and adopted by Pope Gregory XIII in accordance with instructions from the Council of Trent (1545-1563) to correct errors in the older Julian calendar. It was decreed by Pope Gregory XIII in a papal bull, Inter Gravissimas, on February 24, 1582.
The Julian calendar was in common use until the 1500's, when countries started changing to the Gregorian calendar. However, some countries (for example, Greece and Russia) used it into the 1900's, and the Orthodox church in Russia still uses it, as do some other Orthodox churches.
England and the early American Colonies converted to the Gregorian calendar in 1752, Japan adopted this calendar in 1873, Russia had to wait until the government changed in 1918, and Turkey held out until the 1926-1928 period when reformers took control of the country.
Years before the birth of Christ are in English traditionally identified using the abbreviation BC or B.C. ("Before Christ"). Years after the birth of Christ are traditionally identified using the Latin abbreviation AD or A.D. ("Anno Domini: In the Year of the Lord"). Some people, who want to avoid the reference to Christ that is implied in these terms, prefer the abbreviations BCE ("Before the Common Era" or "Before the Christian Era") and CE ("Common Era" or "Christian Era").
In the United States, a month-day-year format is commonly used to show the date: 12/25/2005 or 12-25-2005. Most other countries use a day-month-year format, such as: 25.12.2005, 25/12/2005, 25/12-2005, or 25.XII.2005. International standard ISO-8601 mandates a year-month-day format, namely either 2005-12-25 or 20051225.
What could change the calendar we use today? It's simple: SPACE TRAVEL. People are one day going to be living on satellites orbiting the Earth, on the Moon, Mars, and other celestrial bodies in outer space. The solar days are different for all the planets in our solar system. Numerous calendars could be in use, and someone will have to figure it all out!

I have just discovered an incredible new advertising technique that will absolutely revolutionize the way that you do business on the Internet. SELECT THIS LINK to find out more about it.
Now, billion-dollar corporations have been using this technique for a while, but never before has it been available to independent businessmen.
But Leon Klepfish, the creator of Text-OnlyAds.com, has devised an exclusive membership system that allows ordinary Webmasters like us to take full advantage of this ingenious advertising, without having to pay a dime for it.
Still, Text-OnlyAds membership usually costs a hefty monthly fee. But, I talked to Leon and I was able to get you a special deal. Now, I couldn't convince him to let you try it out for free because this system is just too powerful to be giving away, but I did manage to convince him to let you try the system out for a month for just $1.
That's right, $1. Am I good or what? (Oh, and there's another special bonus if you sign up quickly.) SELECT THIS LINK and lock in your exclusive $1 a month price, before Leon changes his mind.
Did I forget to mention that this is a viral system? That means don't dawdle. If you join now you will be one of the first exclusive members and you can use the viral effect to your advantage to multiply your advertising reach a thousand-fold.
SELECT THIS LINK and sign up right now, before the special price runs out.
